It is important to celebrate each of your success, your goals whether big or small.
Once you have decided on your goal, make sure you write it down and give yourself a Time line for completion.
You need to take action and do something daily towards your goal with focus and discipline!
As you celebrate each of your success this builds your confidence so you can continue on your path in achieving greatness with your bigger long term goal!
Once you have reached that goal, are you ready to celebrate? Your celebration does not have to be huge, just something that makes You feel Good and only You!
This next step is crucial, some people bypass the celebration completely and they then find it hard to stay motivated as they progress toward their goal.
Here are a few suggestions below on how to celebrate:
Something so simple as give yourself a pat on the back for coming this far
You can share your excitement with others with a nice glass of wine
You can treat yourself to buying yourself something nice
Go for a long walk along the beach
Take a few very deep breaths, sigh and say with meaning, “I have achieved this goal and I deserve this”
Have a nice dinner with the ones you love with that nice glass of wine!
Take the morning off, the afternoon off, the day off, you deserve it.
Have a munch of something that you generally wouldn’t have as it is not too healthy, have it, just this once.
Sit under your favourite tree and day dream, it is so delicious to breathe in the fresh air with your eyes closed and dream.
Sit at your favourite spot and enjoy your favourite ice cream with no guilt!
Write down your successes and pin it on a vision board so you can see them every day.
Tell the world whether by mouth, social media.
“The more you praise and celebrate your life, the more there is in life to celebrate”
You will find by celebrating your successes after achieving your goals, your confidence increases and keeps you motivated to continue aiming for your goals. You will find your creativity sparks and you can accomplish anything.
With this, confidence you will find that you are trusting your gut instincts more.
Staying motivated whilst working on a long – term goal can at times be daunting a challenge. To make it a little less daunting , have a look at your goal that you are working on and see if you can break down your goal into smaller segments, group a few of the segments of your goal together and complete them, and then give yourself a rest away –
i.e. Go for a walk and take a few long and deep breaths, go for a glass of water, you choose!
Come back in a short while and continue focusing on completing your goal, if grouping in segments suits better, go ahead but keep in mind your goal timeline.
“I will celebrate, but I know new goals and objectives will come and I am ready to take them”
